Practitioner Profile
Since qualifying as a Raviv practitioner, I have continued to develop my knowledge of neuro-cognitive approaches to education, incorporating the most up-to-date ideas into my learning programmes.
As a former secondary school teacher and the mother of a dyslexic son, I am keen to demonstrate how neuro-cognitive learning methods can help those with learning difficulties to realise their full potential.
All too frequently I have witnessed the loss of self-esteem and sense of failure that can occur when intelligent people with special needs are unable to cope within the education system.
I have a first class honours degree in Language Studies, a post graduate certificate (PGCE) in secondary English education and an adult teaching certificate, enabling me to teach across a wide age range.
